What a lovely place! Our stay was perfect. Glenn and Vanessa were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond in everything. Thank you for a relaxing/fantastic vacation. The Cottages are quiet, clean, beautiful and just perfect.
We stayed here during 2nd week of March 2023. The place was as advertised. Very quiet and tranquil. It felt like we were on our own private resort. The staff (Glenn and Vanessa) were great. So friendly and attentive. The daily breakfast on our private lanai was amazing. And I have to admit, the best sunrise view we have ever experienced. Even though the location is approximately 45-50 mins from Georgetown, I would definitely stay here again. The local restaurants were very good, Tukka, Italian Kitchen and even the Beach Bar with daily Happy Hour. The only recommendation I would make is that they should clear the seaweed daily so that it doesn't build up so much and that would make it easier to walk along the beach.
I have nothing but high praise for the Cottages following our stay there in February 2022. Lynn, Glen, and Vanessa were all wonderfully welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are charming (adorable even) and the property is just a perfect piece of paradise. And the included breakfast is a nice, unique touch. The East End of the island is our preferred area. There are plenty of food options, beaches, a nice dive shop, and other local attractions in close proximity to The Cottages, which provides a much more relaxed and peaceful experience than the busier 7-mile beach area. Stay on the East End at The Cottages but get a rental car (which you will need on this end) and explore the more touristy attractions throughout the island as you please, knowing that when you return home to The Cottages, you will find a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere with warm and inviting hosts that offers a special experience on Grand Cayman.
The owner Lynn was awesome. Glenn and Vanessa met all of our needs and helped very much no complaints here. Rooms were wonderful and view was spectacular. Everything we needed and wanted to enjoy the cottages we're at our disposable from ice And coolers along with snorko gear. I can't say enough about The cottages. If you're looking for a lunch and a lifetime place to stay this would be it.
My friends and I had a lovely experience at the Cottages. Perfect for relaxation type of vacation. The property is very nice and rooms well-equipped with everything you need. The coffee that was in our room was the best I've had in years and daily breakfast was delicious. I can't say enough about the owner Lynn she is such a kind person and so attentive and accommodating to our needs and interests. We'll be back for sure! Marsha
This was our first time to Grand Cayman and The Cottages was the perfect place to stay! We wanted somewhere secluded and on the beach, and this was the spot. Glen and Vanessa took great care of us and their smiles and warm personalities made our stay even more enjoyable! Breakfast was delicious each morning. We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for the lovely accommodations!
Our three night stay at The Cottages was the highlight of our trip to the Cayman Islands. Such a relaxing and tranquil location away from the traffic and the crowds of Seven Mile Beach. Views to die for, a gentle sea breeze and just the sounds of the waves. Our ‘cottage’ was so beautiful- not only equipped with everything you need but so stylish - from the turquoise kettle matching the towels and covers, to the massive comfortable bed and the tea/coffee and welcome basket. The pool was fab and the little touches like pillows on the sunbeds, the firepit and the social lounging chairs make this place exceptional. And don’t get me started on the sunrises! Staff/breakfasts great too. We will be back.
A perfect, secluded East End jumping off point for anyone who doesn’t want to fight the crowds on 7 mile! We can’t wait to visit again! From the time we booked to check-out, Lynn, Glenn, and Vanessa were responsive, super friendly, and extremely helpful. They gave us great recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to eat. (Definitely visit the Czech Inn, the Caboose and La Casita!) Comfortable rooms, tasty breakfasts, gorgeous location, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout the property. The fact that it’s a relatively small property keeps things casual, with the chance to get to know your fellow guests (or not if that’s not your thing), and there are plenty of beach chairs for everyone. Easy access to Rum Point/Kaibo for Stingray City (the 7 am tour with White Sand = perfect!), close to Botanical Gardens, Crystal Caves, the Blow Holes, several good restaurants, and many beaches. A rental car is a must.
Such a beautiful and relaxing space. Lynn and her staff are 5-stars all the way. She really cares about giving each guest a wonderful experience and is very accommodating. I loved having breakfast on the balcony each morning and sitting by the fire pit watching for shooting stars each night. (We saw 3 while we were there!) I can’t wait to return!!!
Fantastic location on the best side of the Island. Breakfast served to you every morning by two of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Lynn is also awesome and goes out of her way to make sure you have an amazing time. The rooms are first class all the way with awesome patios. I would never stay anywhere else on Grand Cayman, don’t bother looking elsewhere, this is it.
Add a bottle of sparkling wine or champagne to start your day. Along with your complementary breakfast, we will provide daily bubbles.
